We are seeking a Cloud Support Associate Engineer who is eager to learn and has a passion for Linux and cloud technologies. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer ready to engage with interesting technical problems. You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional technical support experience for our customers, from problem qualification to resolution, while managing your support cases.

Location: Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia (Remote)
Work Conditions: Full-time, Remote
Language Requirements: Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support via telephone, email, and web.
  • Acting as an internal customer advocate and ensuring timely updates.
  • Maintaining knowledge base articles and drafting technical notices.
  • Participating in a regular weekend working rotation.
  • Keeping abreast of product updates and contributing suggestions for service improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in a technical field (Computer Science, MIS, Electrical Engineering preferred).
  • Experience in Linux troubleshooting and server administration.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts.
  • Familiarity with virtualization/cloud technologies, storage, networking, and basic programming skills in languages like bash, Perl, or C/C++.
  • Ability to learn quickly and thrive under pressure.

Additional Information:

  • Background check required.
  • Experience supporting virtualized environments and contributions to open-source projects is a plus.
