We are hiring Embedded Linux Consultants to support mission-critical industries such as Automotive, Medical Devices, Industrial Systems, Robotics, and Consumer Electronics.
Successful candidates will be accomplished Linux plumbers with a passion for Linux, proficiency in containerization, system debugging, and familiarity with low-level Linux boot, BIOS, firmware, and embedded software development methodologies. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
Work Conditions: Full-time, Remote (willingness to travel up to 30% of the time for customer meetings, company events, and conferences)
Location: Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Remote)
What Your Day Will Look Like
- Engage customers during presales to gather requirements and explain our technology.
- Elaborate on solutions to propose to prospective clients.
- Participate in the delivery of projects related to Embedded Linux.
- Serve as a customer advocate and trusted advisor to Canonical.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Extensive Linux experience, preferably with Debian or Ubuntu.
- Solid embedded Linux experience (Yocto, Buildroot, or RTOS).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
- Professional written and spoken English; proficiency in the local language is required for positions in Japan and Korea.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Result-oriented with the ability to multitask.
