We are hiring a Salesforce Engineer who is committed to engineering quality and process efficiency, seeks continuous improvement, and applies their skills effectively. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work with several business systems and deliver an excellent experience to Canonical's business operations.
The Business Systems team manages several responsibilities across engineering teams, working closely with operations to implement business processes and ensure system compliance. This role is ideal for someone with a genuine interest in understanding business operations, high engineering standards, and a drive to improve the experiences of colleagues using these systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop engineering solutions in NetSuite, Salesforce, and other business systems.
- Collaborate with colleagues on business specifications, technical designs, and code reviews.
- Understand and learn Canonical’s business processes.
- Coach and mentor team members, providing feedback for development.
- Promote effective engineering and organizational practices.
What We Are Looking For:
- Exceptional academic track record from high school and university.
- Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling narrative about your alternative path.
- Proven track record of exceeding expectations and achieving outstanding results.
- Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or other CRM/ERP systems.
- Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills.
- Result-oriented, with a strong personal drive to meet commitments.
- Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events (up to two weeks long).
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Performance engineering and security experience.
- Experience with accounting, sales, sales operations, or related business roles.
Work Conditions:
- This is a full-time remote position based in the EMEA region.
- The role involves international travel for company events.
