Position

We are seeking a Senior/Staff/Lead Architect to join our Launchpad team and drive the future of collaborative open-source development tooling. This remote role is ideal for a motivated engineer who has a passion for open-source software, Linux, and web services. You will have the opportunity to maintain our business-critical services while expanding our feature set, including improvements to package building capabilities and modernizing our web UI. The role entails collaborating on design, architecture, and feature selection for solutions across distributed teams, writing high-quality, API-first Python code with unit tests, debugging issues, and reviewing code from other engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

What We Are Looking For:

  • Relevant academic background such as a Bachelor's in Computer Science or a similar field.
  • Proficiency in delivering robust Python code to production environments.
  • Experience with maintaining and improving large web applications.
  • Familiarity with databases, data management, and data modeling, preferably with PostgreSQL.
  • Understanding of secure delivery practices.
  • Experience with Ubuntu as a development and deployment platform.
  • Knowledge of software packaging systems, especially Debian/Ubuntu packages.

Language Requirements:
Proficiency in English is expected.
