Position

As a Data Governance Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality, consistency, security, integrity, and compliance of data in the context of a large Industry 4.0 Transformation Program for a strategic Group Client, operating at a Domain Design Authority level. This position requires close collaboration with various stakeholders, including IT and OT Leaders, Architects, Business, and Senior Management, to promote and enforce a culture of data excellence.

Your Role:

  • Drive the overall data quality function for a large Capgemini-delivered Industry 4.0 Transformation Program, including data profiling, cleansing, contextualization, and enrichment.
  • Collaborate with the Data Strategy Program to ensure a unified approach across different programs, reviewing existing data controls and aligning on recommended additional controls.
  • Define and maintain data quality and metadata processes, participate in the development of rules, thresholds, and quality expectations for critical business processes.
  • Work with global and regional data stewards, business SMEs, and data owners to define and maintain data quality rules and metadata.
  • Participate in solutioning teams to provide data management experience, including strong analytical capabilities.
  • Define replicable assets, policies, processes, and standards to ensure reusability and speed in delivery within the context of the transformation program.
  • Enforce implementation and usage of replicable patterns through coordination with Use Cases teams and the Domain Design Authority mandate.
  • Collate and review data requirements, ensuring completeness, timeliness, and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and mitigate data-related risks.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to align data governance initiatives with business objectives.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in data analysis, categorization, business requirement gathering, dashboarding, and reporting.
  • Industry experience in metal manufacturing or mining sectors.
  • Advanced knowledge in IT/OT environments and IT/OT convergence data topics, including protocols for data exchange.
  • Technical understanding of: Azure, OLTP/OLAP, SQL/NoSQL databases, Databricks, Power BI, and Collibra/Informatica (SAP ECC, HANA is a plus).
  • Experience with data contextualization, masking, and anonymization techniques.
  • Familiarity with governance in ontology-oriented environments is a plus.
  • Understanding of Agile and SAFe principles.
