We are seeking an innovative and insightful Analyst - Information Security to join our Cyber & Information Security Team at Core42. This role is pivotal in providing information security support in accordance with the ISMS Framework to both Core42 and its clients. You will assist in achieving compliance with ISO 27001 standards and UAE regulatory standards, continuously monitoring, analyzing, and responding to potential security incidents. Your contributions will include implementing security measures, performing data and trend analysis, and enhancing the overall security posture of the organization.
The opportunity
As a leading team member, you will enhance the security framework of Core42’s cloud infrastructure, playing a significant role in national-scale digital transformation initiatives across various industries. Core42 combines G42 Group’s expertise into a unified platform for public sector and large enterprise transformations, incorporating generative AI, cybersecurity, and managed services.
Responsibilities
- Ensure continuous updating of the information security policy handbook and its applicability at Core42 and client offices.
- Review and analyze security systems to ensure compliance with defined policies and the ISO 27001 standard.
- Conduct risk and gap assessments to identify Core42’s security posture and maintain evidence of compliance.
- Review documents and materials for accuracy and quality control.
- Implement basic information security policies, such as password security and safe browsing practices.
- Participate in the design, configuration, development, and implementation of relevant security architecture.
- Develop and maintain Business Continuity Management policies and procedures.
- Implement a robust information security awareness program.
- Update and maintain Core42’s compliance catalogue for applicable standards and regulations.
- Collaborate effectively to address internal and external security audits.
Skills and attributes for success
- Deep understanding of information security principles and best practices.
- Proven experience in security management.
- Familiarity with current trends in Information Security and Data Privacy.
- Proficient in security monitoring and analysis tools.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to public sector initiatives.
Qualifications
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge in generative AI, data science, and cloud computing concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Security.
- Certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP.
- Certified lead implementer in ISO 27001 & ISO 22301 management systems.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Information Security.
