As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will drive cloud innovation by developing and managing Azure infrastructure and policies with Terraform. Your role will include automating deployments via CI/CD pipelines and scripting, ensuring security and compliance. You will collaborate with a high-performing team to contribute to cutting-edge solutions and enhance user experiences while expanding your Azure expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to define and manage cloud infrastructure, policy definitions, and reproducible deployments.
- Collaborate on the creation, customization, and implementation of Azure Policies.
- Manage CI/CD Pipelines to automate application deployment processes and enhance development workflows.
- Develop automation scripts to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.
- Optimize and troubleshoot cloud-based solutions using your familiarity with the Azure cloud stack.
- Ensure security and compliance standards are met across all deployed systems and processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to propose innovative solutions that enhance user experiences.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in DevOps engineering, specifically in cloud environments (Azure stack experience is a must).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Extensive experience with the Azure cloud stack and its services.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell/Python.
- Experience with JSON manipulation for policy and configuration management.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Certification in Azure (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or AZ-400).
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies (Azure + AWS/GCP).
- Proven experience in providing technical leadership and mentoring junior developers.
