Position

The Total Rewards Sr Specialist will support the planning, execution, and administration of compensation and benefits programs aligned with the organization's HR & Total Rewards strategy. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Total Rewards practices & processes, including salary structures, pay range setting, benefits programs costing & administration, execution of annual compensation cycles, short-term incentives, data analytics, and market benchmarking. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7-8 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years specifically in total rewards, preferably with an understanding of UAE or US labor market dynamics and trends. Exposure to multiple geographies is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Compensation Management:

    • Analyze and model merit increases, salary adjustments, and promotions.
    • Support annual compensation cycles with data quality checks and guideline design.
    • Conduct market benchmarking studies using tools like Mercer and WTW.
    • Administer incentive and variable pay programs in partnership with relevant teams.
  • Benefits Administration:

    • Manage employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
    • Evaluate benefits offerings to identify enhancement opportunities.
  • Policy Development and Governance:

    • Draft and enforce compensation and benefits policies in compliance with labor laws.
    • Monitor market trends and regulatory changes in compensation and benefits.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Analyze compensation and benefits data to generate insights and recommend improvements.
    • Support manpower costing and budget inputs for Total Rewards & HR functions.
    • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
    • Track KPIs related to Total Rewards programs.
  • Collaboration and Consultation:

    • Act as a trusted advisor to Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners on Total Rewards policies.
    • Work with external consultants for market-specific insights.
  • Project Management:

    • Support Total Rewards-related projects, such as benefits renewals and communication campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CIPD, GRP) preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-8 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in Compensation and Benefits/Total Rewards, preferably in a multinational organization with exposure to UAE/GCC and/or US.

Required Skills / Competencies

  • Attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in compensation tools and systems (e.g., SuccessFactors, Oracle, Workday)
  • Knowledge of labor laws, tax regulations, and market-specific benefits practices
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI; familiarity with survey platforms like Mercer or Willis Tower Watson
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
