Quality Assurance Engineer

The Quality Assurance Engineer role at D360 Bank is responsible for testing and auditing software and hardware products to ensure they meet stringent quality standards. This position involves developing and implementing quality coordination and testing strategies while recommending solutions to quality issues that arise. The engineer will monitor every stage of the product development process and suggest corrections, focusing on both essential product requirements and feature improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Identify issues arising from quality assurance tests.
• Track improvements for enhancing product quality.
• Apply existing procedures to resolve routine or standard problems.
• Conduct quality assurance tests against design requirements and specifications.
• Trace issues to relevant development stages and teams.
• Automate quality assurance testing for suitable tests and processes.
• Propose improvements to optimize the testing process.
• Obtain technical documents to understand user requirements and product specifications.
• Create test scenarios that comply with established testing procedures and guidelines.
• Enforce compliance with necessary controls and related information security policies.

Qualifications:

• Preferred tertiary-level qualification from an internationally recognized institution.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in quality assurance/testing and/or software development.
• Experience in project implementation and the ability to work independently on small projects.
• Experience in providing technical supervision to junior staff.
