Job Description
The role is responsible for Managing and monitoring all activities related to the SAMA security unit
Responsibilities
- Ensure to meet All SAMA security requirements.
- Responsible for monitoring SAMA security activities.
- Ensure completion of all SAMA security tasks as per SAMA turnaround time.
- Ensure to provide accurate data by monitoring and checking the quality of the data during and after completing SAMA security tasks.
- Communicate with other departments to ensure covering and implementing any requirement to guarantee smooth processing for unit activities.
- Provide support in SAMA security-related projects/assignments/system implementations.
- Review and provide necessary reporting for SAMA security activities.
- Keep and Maintain the Black list for SAMA security.
- Represent and attend all meetings and committees related to SAMA security with SAMA and other local banks.
- Assists in the design and implementation of internal policies, procedures, and controls regarding SAMA security to ensure that these are in alignment with applicable laws and regulations.
- Prepare and submit SAMA security reports promptly.
- Manage the operations and activities of the SAMA security team.
- Managing SAMA security portal Users.
- Ensures that the appropriate staff, skills, and resources are in place to deliver the short and long-term goals set for the SAMA security team.
- Provide coaching, direction, and motivation to these staff.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Have a tertiary-level qualification from an internationally recognized institution.
Years & Nature of Experience
Would have 3 to 5 years of equivalent experience relevant in Banking and Control functions, including SAMA security.
An experienced professional who can deliver on difficult technical tasks
Has project implementation experience
Is self-sufficient at work and could be given small project responsibility
Has provided technical supervision to junior staff in the past
