The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring design quality and adherence to standards. This role involves tasks including software design, source code development, review and control, configuration management, and integration of software. The engineer will participate in a wide range of quality assurance testing and analyses to ensure that products meet or exceed specified quality standards and end-user requirements prior to release.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing design plans and quality manuals to understand the scope, requirements, and functions of the problem.
- Ensuring that products meet the organization's and customers' quality and product integrity requirements.
- Supporting product development or operations teams by providing analysis and expertise throughout the inspection process.
- Identifying root causes of problems in the production process and recommending corrective measures.
- Analyzing data to identify trends in product quality or defects to mitigate and prevent recurrence and future defects.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and industry standards and regulations throughout manufacturing processes.
- Enforcing and complying with necessary controls and related information security policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- A tertiary-level qualification from an internationally recognized institution.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, demonstrating required competencies and experience.
- Experience as a specialist contributor or team lead, managing and delivering projects.
- Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving, digital fluency, and attention to detail skills.
