About the Job
The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at D360 Bank is responsible for ensuring design quality and adherence to standards. This role involves tasks such as software design, source code development, review and control, configuration management, and software integration. The engineer participates in a wide range of quality assurance testing and analyses to ensure that products meet or exceed specified quality standards and end-user requirements before release. Working within a team, the engineer must be proficient in the programming languages required by the organization and should have the ability to anticipate problems in the development process, developing and articulating innovative and effective solutions to address and prevent re-occurrence.
Responsibilities
- Review design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals to understand the scope, requirements, and functioning of the problem.
- Ensure that products meet the organization's and customers' quality and product integrity requirements.
- Support the product development or operations team by providing analysis and expertise throughout the inspection process.
- Identify root causes of problems in the production process and recommend or implement corrective measures.
- Analyze data to identify trends in product quality or defects, with the goal of mitigating and preventing future defects.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with federal, state, local, and industry standards and regulations.
- Enforce, incorporate, and comply with all necessary controls and related information security policies, procedures, practices, training, reporting, and personal due diligence within departmental activities.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- A tertiary-level qualification from an internationally recognized institution.
Years & Nature of Experience
- 5 to 7 years of equivalent experience where required competencies and experience have been demonstrated.
- Experience as a specialist individual contributor or team lead who has managed and delivered projects.
- Capability in team or technical supervision skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in complex technical activities.
- Experience working with more senior staff and handling complex issues, larger clients, accounts, projects, or internal relationships.
