About the Job:
This position is focused on utilizing Azure DevOps to manage the CI/CD pipelines and optimize cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps. Automate and manage the release process, ensuring smooth deployment to multiple environments (development, staging, production).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Bicep to provision and manage Azure resources. Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
- Version Control and Collaboration: Work with Git for version control and GitHub or Azure Repos for collaboration on code. Ensure code quality by setting up static code analysis, code coverage, and security scanning as part of the pipeline.
- Monitoring and Alerts: Set up monitoring and alerting for Azure applications, infrastructure, and resources. Use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to ensure uptime and reliability of applications.
- Automation and Scripting: Write scripts in PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate cloud and on-premise tasks. Work with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef when necessary.
- Cloud Management: Provide guidance for cloud infrastructure optimization, scalability, and security within the Azure environment. Manage and monitor Azure resources like Virtual Machines (VMs), App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Databases, etc.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps, Azure CLI, and related services.
- Proven background in CI/CD pipeline development and automation tools.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), App Services, and Virtual Machines.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
- Scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields is generally preferred, but practical experience can often substitute.
