About the job
- Design, configure, and deploy VMware virtualization solutions for clients
- Manage and administer VMware vSphere infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual machines
- Create and maintain virtual machine templates, snapshots, and clones
- Monitor system performance and optimize configurations for efficient operation
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VMware infrastructure and virtual machines
- Implement and maintain VMware NSX for network virtualization
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and design customized VMware solutions
- Create and update technical documentation, including installation guides and standard operating procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience as a VMware Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge and experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server
- Experience with VMware NSX for network virtualization
- Hands-on experience with virtual machine management, templates, and snapshots
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions for VMware
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) are preferred
