Deloitte Consulting in the Middle East (β€œDME-C”) is on an exciting transformation and growth journey, aiming to further strengthen its internal functions for scaling safely. This journey will focus on large and complex deals in transformation, technology implementation, and operations. Accordingly, DME-C is seeking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Quality Senior Manager to serve as a trusted advisor on strategic contract matters during the delivery of specific large-scale, high-risk engagements within the Public, Private, or Financial Services sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Support Quality Assurance partners in managing the QA process and keep track of risks and issues facing large-scale projects.
  • Capture and consider the major impacts associated with quality issues to support identifying and mitigating cost drivers.
  • Collaborate with QA and Engagement Partners to document and keep track of feedback on engagement risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Highlight concerns on QA plan execution where needed.
  • Plan and execute quality activities (e.g., methods, tools, engagement quality management processes) appropriate for the size and complexity of engagements, with adequate leadership oversight.
  • Confirm finalization of contract and non-contract-related obligations, ensure compliance with off-boarding processes, and maintain relevant engagement documentation.
  • Contribute to the QA process design, including drafting and maintaining standard engagement delivery excellence procedures and processes.
  • Support compliance and effectiveness in applying Quality and Risk Management policies and processes.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate and/or Postgraduate degree from a reputable University in Law, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
  • Understanding of project management and consulting project delivery.
  • Experience working directly with senior-level executives and large engagement teams.
  • Strong commercial understanding of engagement deal economics and profitability levers.
  • Ability to evaluate risks associated with large professional services engagements.
  • Proficiency in articulating complex contractual details to wider project teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage demanding workloads effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Experience in Consulting or a similar large entrepreneurial business setting.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience with contract negotiations and resolving contractual disputes.
  • Familiarity with contract management systems is an advantage.
  • Arabic language skills are a plus.
