Data Engineer

Xebia is seeking a Data Engineer with 5 to 9 years of experience in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Ideal candidates should possess strong Azure skills, including provisioning, configuring, and developing solutions in Azure Data Lake (ADL), Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Azure Data Warehouse (ADW). Key responsibilities will include:

• An in-depth understanding of database structure principles.
• Experience with DevOps practices, specifically Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Airflow.
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS platforms such as MS SQL Server or Oracle.
• Proficiency in distributed data processing of big data, both batch and streaming pipelines (using platforms like Kafka).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong data modeling and analytics skills.

Candidates should have a problem-solving attitude and be highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail. The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks is essential. While not all skills are required, a blend of the following would be advantageous:
