Senior Graphics Designer

About the Job
As a Senior Graphic Designer at Deriv, you will produce captivating designs that inform the audience and call them to action. With a keen eye for aesthetics, you will conceptualize creative solutions for visual challenges and play an essential role in building user interfaces that bridge our products and users.

Your Challenges:

• Develop the design rationale and explain visual choices to cross-functional teams both verbally and visually.
• Produce high-quality visual designs, including icons, graphics, and marketing materials for desktop, web, and mobile devices across various resolutions.
• Create designs that emphasize our brand, reflect our voice, and inject beauty and life into our products.
• Develop and maintain brand identity guidelines to ensure consistent and cohesive visual representation across all platforms.
• Lay out mockups and wireframes for app screens and web pages.
• Collaborate with the Copywriting team to create cohesive designs that amplify the verbal message.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in design, UI, and UX.
• Share insights and innovations with the team to continuously improve our design processes and final products.
• Review and provide constructive feedback on design work produced by junior team members.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in graphic design.
• BA/BS in Design (e.g., Human-computer Interaction, Graphic, Visual Communication, Product, or Industrial Design) or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with design systems that work across complex products.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Lightroom.
• Strong core skills in establishing visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and color effectively to organize information and guide users through tasks.
• Ability to create style guides for cross-functional use.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
