You will design, develop, support, and deliver robust and cost-effective solutions for both Business and IT-led initiatives.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Provide expert technical consultancy and guidance to EG-IT dealing within the technology area and act as lead technical member in project teams.
- Develop IT solutions that meet customer requirements and ensure they conform to corporate standards.
- Develop solution architectures for assigned projects with established EA standards.
- Collaborate with other IT Technology Teams to ensure ongoing monitoring of relevant technologies.
- Ensure that assigned incidents are resolved within agreed Service Levels and problems are defined and analyzed.
- Own and manage changes within the Technology Area.
- Manage End of Life replacement of equipment and/or software.
- Publish and maintain high-quality documentation related to the technology area.
Requirements
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology with 5+ years of experience in information technology.
- Proficiency using application integration technologies and tools:
- API development and management (RESTful APIs a plus)
- Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) or Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) such as SnapLogic, Informatica, Tibco
- Messaging protocols (e.g., JMS, AMQP, Kafka)
- Experience with various programming languages commonly used in integration (e.g., Java, Python).
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile methodology.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments.
- Knowledge of cloud-based integration platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
