In Financial Accounting & Advisory Services (FAAS) within Assurance, we assist clients in addressing the accounting and financial reporting challenges their businesses face. The Opportunity
This role within our Digital Team offers advisory services centered on Data, AI, and intelligent automation. As a Manager, you will facilitate businesses in their data-driven transformations, focusing on areas like data strategy and governance, data architecture, data analytics, intelligent automation, data science, and IT transformation (e.g., Oracle/ERP transformations). Your responsibilities will also include acting as a strategic advisor on data protection, data governance, data migrations, and cloud journey oversight. Collaboration with other data leaders, including cybersecurity and data protection teams, as well as data scientists and analysts, will be essential to ensure that your deliverables meet client expectations.

You will play a crucial role in identifying clients and driving business development in this fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage up to four projects alongside senior business leaders and ensure the development of a FAAS strategy that addresses risk while managing client expectations.
  • Identify business opportunities, work on RFPs and proposals, and ensure financial margins are upheld for ongoing projects.
  • Ensure timely delivery of work in compliance with regulatory requirements and effective execution of the FAAS service delivery framework.
  • Collaborate with other service lines to provide integrated service delivery and monitor the performance of the FAAS engagement team against the budget.
  • Communicate relevant trends and developments to clients, consult on complex accounting issues, and contribute to the sales of new FAAS work.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and approximately 7+ years of related work experience.
  • Demonstrated work experience of at least 8+ years in a global consulting firm managing a team of at least 10 people.
  • Proven ability to engage strategically with C-Suite stakeholders and drive business outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience with big data platforms like Cloudera, Informatica, and Data bricks, as well as cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Industry expertise in areas such as Government, Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail, and Telecom.
  • Ability to manage teams through all phases of project lifecycles, including requirements definition and application mapping.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies like Data Fabric, Data Mesh, AI, ML, and LLM.
