About the Job

We are seeking an NOC End User Devices Engineer - L1 to join our IT operations team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of End User Devices with a strong desire to grow and develop their technical skills in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. The NOC End User Devices Engineer - L1 will be the first point of contact for monitoring and responding to alerts, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the stability and performance of the End User Devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and Incident Detection: Continuously monitor End User Devices using Nextthink and respond to alerts and incidents as they arise, ensuring quick detection and resolution of issues.
  • Initial Troubleshooting: Perform troubleshooting on End User Devices (Desktops, Laptops, VDI, Systems, Windows and Linux OS, DB, Storage, Cloud Solutions, and Virtual Environments).
  • Incident Management: Categorize and prioritize incidents based on severity and impact and ensure timely communication with stakeholders.
  • End User Devices and Maintenance: Assist in routine maintenance tasks, including applying patches, updates, and performing health checks on End User Devices.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of End User Devices topology and generate performance reports.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with L2 and L3 engineers to resolve complex issues and participate in team meetings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in large industry monitoring Desktops, laptops, and workstations.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in troubleshooting infrastructure components.
  • Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with End User Devices tools (Nextthink) and incident management systems (ServiceNow).
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal forms.
  • Certifications: Microsoft/Linux/Cloud/Hardware/Nexthink certifications are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a 24/7 operations environment, particularly in a NOC or similar role.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time. Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift environment and participate in on-call rotations.
