Job Description
We are seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team as VP, Onboarding (Golang). In this role, you will drive the development of cutting-edge solutions and shape the future of our products. You will lead and manage the Onboarding squad, acting as both a strategic and technical leader. This position involves overseeing a team of developers, quality assurance engineers, and business analysts to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team. Set clear objectives and performance goals for team members.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.
- Architecture Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and resilient architectures for our trading consumer applications.
- Development: Lead development efforts including hands-on coding, code reviews, and troubleshooting.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and implement optimizations for the platform's responsiveness and efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous testing processes to ensure the reliability and stability of the application.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation including system architecture diagrams and development guidelines.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and improve development processes and methodologies to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a technical lead or similar role in developing mission-critical systems or financial applications.
- At least 5 years of experience in a management role.
- Strong proficiency in Go programming language with experience in web development technologies (Flutter, React, etc.).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and REST API design.
- Experience with various datastores (RDBMS, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Desirable:
- Experience with B2C applications.
- Background in the trading industry.
