GCP Cloud Architect

We are seeking a GCP Cloud Architect with extensive experience in Google Cloud Platform services. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge in the following areas:

• GCP Services:

  • Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Functions, Cloud Run
  • Cloud Storage, Persistent Disk, VPC, Firewall Rules, Load Balancing, Cloud DNS
  • IAM, Roles, Permissions, Service Accounts
  • Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging

• Architectural Design Principles:

  • Scalability, reliability, security, performance, and cost-effectiveness
  • Hybrid and Multi-Cloud Architectures

• Data Lake Management:

  • Understanding the benefits and challenges of data lakes
  • Implementing policies for data access, quality, and compliance
  • Designing and managing metadata using Dataplex

• Data Ingestion and Processing:

  • Employing techniques for batch and streaming data ingestion
  • Using frameworks suitable for data lakes

• Data Consumption:

  • Enabling access for various users and applications

• GCP Data Lake Services:

  • Expertise in Google Cloud Storage and BigQuery
  • Designing data lakes with integrated governance, discovery, and security

• Infrastructure as Code:

  • Proficiency in Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager for automation

• Security Best Practices:

  • Implementing controls for data at rest and in transit
  • Designing resilient architectures for disaster recovery and business continuity

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the field.
