Responsibilities:
- Review and advise developers on testing new features.
- Automate end-to-end test scenarios.
- Conduct impact analysis to understand risks and mitigation strategies.
- Improve our testing architecture and test suite efficiency.
- Take initiatives in enhancing our testing coverage across the product.
- Contribute to automation traceability metrics.
- Engage in CI/CD development and best practices.
- Oversee all aspects of quality assurance, establishing metrics and applying industry best practices.
- Identify, document, and track bugs from discovery to resolution.
- Stay current on new technologies to ensure components are designed for testability.
Qualifications:
- At least 6 years of total experience in Quality Engineering roles, specifically with web and mobile applications.
- Proven experience developing automation for React applications.
- Knowledge of React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing test plans, scripts, and procedures.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing testability and resolving issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence others.
- Experience with API automation.
- Familiarity with AWS, Terraform, or similar technologies.
- Previous success using a metrics-driven approach to improve software deliverables.
