Senior Cloud System Administrator

The Senior Cloud System Administrator is responsible for maintaining, administering, and managing on-premises (on-prem) data centers, cloud-based servers, services, and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain on-prem data center and cloud servers and services to ensure their optimal performance, security, and reliability.
• Administer Server Operating Systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and processes.
• Manage and troubleshoot Windows-based systems and Linux environments.
• Collaborate and participate in designing and implementing infrastructure solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) is a must.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification and Azure Fundamentals Certifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Linux and Windows systems administration.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Strong skills in system installation, configuration, patch management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in managing services, user permissions, network configurations, and security settings.
• Solid understanding of Windows Server environments, including all related functions.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, with attention to detail and adaptability.
