As a member of the Fortinet International Emerging Markets (IEM) public cloud team, you will collaborate closely with the sales team to position Fortinet's solutions in the public cloud, assist field Systems Engineers in their projects, and report product evolution requests to Product teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be part of the public cloud team covering the International Emerging Markets region.
- Effectively share CNAPP and FortiCNAPP knowledge with the Sales Team and Channel.
- Recommend security best practices, cloud architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure to implement comprehensive cloud security solutions based on FortiCNAPP.
- Collaborate with the direct sales team to identify and qualify business opportunities, address customer technical objections, and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers.
- Provide second-level pre-sales support by:
- Responding to RFPs/RFIs: design, solution specification, product information.
- Supporting key projects to ensure Fortinet's success.
- Leading technical discussions and conducting compelling solution presentations and demonstrations.
- Conducting Proof Of Concepts (POCs) with customers or supporting account SEs or Fortinet partners.
- Build technical materials to support sales activities and design workshops.
- Serve as a point of contact for technical interactions with Public Cloud Providers (AWS, Microsoft, Oracle, Google, or Alibaba).
- Participate as a Public Cloud Subject Matter Expert in seminars.
- Travel as required within the IEM region.
- Self-start and understand the addressable market for designated technologies (Public Cloud).
- Participate in the development of commercial strategies.
- Work closely with Product Managers and peer CSEs to influence product direction and strategy.
- Report and consolidate customer needs across IEM to the Product Management team, including validating business cases and writing feature requests.
Required Skills and Technical Experience:
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF related to cloud security.
- Experience with cloud deployments, particularly in security and compliance.
- Working knowledge of Python, Java, or other programming languages.
- Knowledge of modern software architecture, including CI/CD, DevOps tools, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and API-first strategy.
- Previous experience in DevOps/DevSecOps.
- Extensive Networking Security pre-sales experience and hands-on experience.
- Proficient in one or more public cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
- 3 to 5 years of experience with cloud solutions and/or virtual platforms.
- Additional familiarity with programming/scripting languages like Terraform and Yaml is advantageous.
- Cloud certifications such as CSSP, Azure Security Architect, AWS Solution Architect, or GCP Cloud Architect are a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the network security industry with 5+ years of experience.
