Systems Engineer β SecOps/Incident Response
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
We are looking for a Systems Engineer to work closely with an Incident Response sales representative in a defined territory. The primary mission of the Systems Engineer is to support the sales organization in all technical matters related to monitoring, detecting, and reporting security threats, providing pre-sales expertise, sales calls, and post-sales support.
In this role, you will:
- Lead all technical aspects of the sales cycle, leveraging security platforms such as FortiSOAR, FortiSIEM, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiClient with enterprise customers, from the initial RFIs through RFPs and RFQs as required.
- Manage project execution and actively participate in Proof of Concepts (POCs) in partnership with relevant teams, both internally and with the customer or commercial partner.
- Understand and interpret the technical requirements of customers, building solutions that outperform competitor offerings.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners, collaborating closely with your sales partner.
- Continuously improve your knowledge of Fortinet products and solutions while maintaining a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and how Fortinet provides long-lasting protection against evolving threats.
- Confidently present Fortinet solutions in both remote and in-person settings, utilizing strong communication skills backed by whiteboarding, technical white papers, and customer engagements.
- Effectively manage your time while overseeing multiple deals simultaneously, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer and prospect interactions, including technical information, in our CRM (Salesforce).
Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you should have:
- A high aptitude for security technology, especially encryption and authentication, along with knowledge in network security, intrusion detection, anti-virus, routing, switching, LAN, and WAN.
- Experience in a pre-sales engineer role, managing end-to-end technical aspects of deals up to technical closure.
- Proven problem-solving skills that have led to key wins within your current organization.
- Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships, with effective communication skills tailored to diverse stakeholders.
- Expertise in RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.
