Fractal is seeking a passionate Gen AI Engineer to join our team in Dubai. In this role, you'll leverage your deep understanding of large language models (LLMs) and machine learning to design, develop, and deploy advanced chatbots that provide exceptional user experiences. You will be part of a fast-growing company that partners with Fortune 500 organizations, employing data and cloud technologies to enhance AI solutions and decision-making processes.
What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI solutions using advanced LLMs such as the OpenAI API (e.g., GPT-3.5 Turbo, GPT-4) and frameworks like Langchain and Haystack.
- Utilize the Azure Cloud to develop and integrate AI-based chatbots with existing systems and platforms.
- Implement MLOps/LLMOps practices for efficient chatbot development, deployment, and management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Cloud and Digital teams, Data Engineers, Project Managers, and Business stakeholders, to ensure seamless chatbot integration and user adoption.
- Analyze chatbot performance data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
You're a Perfect Fit If You Have:
- A Master's degree in Statistics, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 7+ years of experience in data science, with at least 5 years focused on developing and deploying NLP solutions, including 2 years specifically in AI-based chatbots or conversational AI systems.
- Hands-on experience with Vector DB & Graph DB applications (AI Search, Neo4j) in semantic search.
- Proficient knowledge of AI/ML concepts along with experience using Langchain, LangGraph, and Haystack.
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, Spark, and potentially other languages (e.g., JavaScript).
- Practical experience with PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Experience designing and implementing pipelines using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Familiarity with the Azure ecosystem for deploying AI-based chatbots or conversational AI systems, including ADF, Databricks, Azure Functions, and the Bot Framework.
- Familiarity with MLOps/LLMOps principles.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills capable of tackling complex language understanding and Generative AI projects.
- Experience working with both structured and unstructured data processing methods.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience deploying AI-based chatbots following Microsoft’s enterprise-grade conversational bot reference architecture.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, message brokers, and event-driven architectures.
- Insights on Microsoft Co-pilot Studio implementation.
- A passion for building user-centric experiences through conversational AI.
