Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking a motivated individual with strong technical abilities and a desire to learn about complex system installations as a Senior Network Engineer at Presight. Presight is the region’s leading big data analytics company powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI), focused on creating business and societal impacts through big data and analytics.

Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time
Travel Requirement: Up to 40% annually

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, design, and implement data center infrastructure.
• Monitor the network to ensure minimum disruption during faults.
• Install, commission, and administer network infrastructure platforms including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Manage network protocols and technologies (MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IPSEC).
• Document high-level and low-level designs focused on network security.
• Deploy and manage network security devices and conduct security incident investigations.
• Automate routine network tasks and develop cloud network resources.
• Collaborate with other teams and service providers for seamless integration.

Requirements

• Solid experience in operating and deploying network infrastructures with a focus on design.
• 8+ years of experience in network engineering or security roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with firewall products (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco) and various security technologies (IPSec, SSL VPNs, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud network connectivity and security (AWS, Azure).
• Relevant certifications (CCIE, CCNP, etc.).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
