The DevOps Engineer role aims to bridge the gap between software development and IT operations. This position will involve close collaboration with software developers and IT staff to manage code deployments and releases. Key responsibilities include overseeing IT infrastructure supporting software code in different environments, choosing suitable deployment models, and directing testing protocols to validate releases. Additional tasks may include preparing test data, analyzing results, and troubleshooting issues.
You will be working closely with the team on assigned projects, receiving guidance from leaders and mentors. The ideal candidate should be willing to learn and adapt, with a focus on utilizing time efficiently and participating in training activities. Familiarity with internal tools and company processes is essential.
