About the Job
As a Cloud Security Architect within Mandiant at Google Cloud, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients effectively prepare for, proactively mitigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats. Your understanding of computer science, operating systems, networking, cloud services, and corporate network environments will be essential in navigating technically complex and high-profile incidents.

In this role, you will engage in a variety of tasks including forensic analysis, threat hunting, and malware triage. You will also test client networks, applications, and devices by employing the latest techniques to assist them in defending against potential threats, while serving as a technical advocate for information security requirements. Your ability to articulate complex concepts will allow you to communicate effectively with business stakeholders, executive leadership, and technical contributors, as you lead multifaceted projects alongside cross-functional teams.

Moreover, as a Security Architect, you will develop and oversee a comprehensive on-premises and cloud computing strategy for clients, addressing any breaches that may occur. Your responsibilities will include creating cloud adoption plans, managing cloud environments, and enforcing security protocols. By applying your expertise in cloud security, identity and access management, and network architecture, you will guide clients through architecture design, containment, and remediation efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Identify trends in solution issues and collaborate internally to mitigate future risks.
  • Develop improved delivery methods for solutions and contribute to innovative initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define solutions and address escalations effectively.
  • Provide advice on tech best practices, optimize stakeholder processes, and build strategic relationships.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in assessing and developing cybersecurity solutions across multiple security domains.
  • 6 years of experience in delivering cyber outcomes and identifying mission risks.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English for customer-facing interactions.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with enterprise security controls in on-premises and cloud infrastructures, Zero Trust Architecture, and Secure Enterprise Platforms.
  • Knowledge of enterprise networking and network segmentation strategies, Agile program management, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
  • Familiarity with cloud governance principles and tools used in penetration testing, incident response, and security monitoring.
