As an AI Technician, you will be responsible for deploying and maintaining systems and servers in our data center, contributing to the hardware and software development for the next generation of high-performance machine learning.
Location: Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia (Remote)
Work Conditions: Full-time, Remote
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as the Directly Responsible Individual for our Datacenter
- Install and maintain servers and other rack gear in the Datacenter and Lab space
- Manage the inventory of all Datacenter equipment
- Unpack and move computers, racks, and other gear from shipping to the DC floor
- Install gear into racks, including cabling of power and network connections
- Run tests on nodes and racks
- Documentation of processes and equipment
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum qualifications:
- Familiarity with computer and network systems
- Linux and Python experience
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Self-motivated with a drive to achieve results
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Flexibility working across multiple systems and contexts
- Preferred qualifications:
- Two or four-year post-high school degree or equivalent experience
- Start-up experience
- Experience working in a data center or network operations center
- Collaborative mindset and openness to learning
- Passionate approach to projects, problems, and innovative solutions
Compensation:
The competitive base salary range for this role is 108,000 SAR to 144,000 SAR, determined by skills, qualifications, and experience.
