This Sustainability Sales Specialist role requires a demonstrated track record of meeting targets and delivering outstanding results. As part of the team, you will need expertise in Sustainability and be responsible for driving sales efforts for the full Sustainability Portfolio, including Envizi Sustainability Performance Suite, Environmental Intelligence Suit, Asset Lifecycle Management (Maximo/TRIRIGA), and Supply Chain Intelligence Suit (Sterling). Success in this role will involve applying a mix of business, technological consulting, and project management skills to advance the IBM AI for Sustainability business.
Your responsibilities in this role will include understanding ESG and Sustainability trends and solutions, maximizing revenue for IBM sustainability software, managing the complete sales cycle, reporting on sales activities and revenue achievements, and leveraging IBM reporting tools effectively.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, forecasting, business tracking, and negotiation
- Experience in selling software licenses & subscriptions and SaaS within key industry sectors
- Experience in ESG, Asset Management, Sustainability, and/or Energy Management software
- Proficiency in managing and closing complex sales-cycles
- Ability to influence key decision-makers during the sales process
Preferred skills
- Knowledge of climate change and ESG reporting standards
- Domain expertise in sustainability, energy, and/or asset optimization management solutions
- Strong understanding of corporate actions in response to climate change
