Position

Our client, a Digital Software Consultancy, is looking for a Cyber Security Consultant to join their dynamic team. This role involves providing innovative digital and cyber security solutions to both public and private sector clients. You will work on large-scale projects aimed at strengthening clients’ cybersecurity postures.

Role Objective:
We seek a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant with a strong background in penetration testing and network security. The consultant will evaluate, identify, and mitigate security risks across various platforms, enhancing clients’ cybersecurity by conducting in-depth assessments, vulnerability analysis, and developing security strategies.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct comprehensive penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and security audits.
  • Provide expert recommendations to mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement security policies and standards.
  • Assist in the deployment and management of security technologies.
  • Advise on Azure security practices leveraging Microsoft Azure frameworks.
  • Keep abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats and advise clients on necessary adjustments.
  • Produce detailed reports on penetration testing findings.

Experience/Certifications Required:

  • Minimum of 3+ years in cybersecurity focused on penetration testing, vulnerability management, and risk assessment.
  • Proficiency in tools like Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nessus, and Wireshark.
  • Knowledge of network protocols and secure network design.
  • Skills in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP or higher, Microsoft AZ500, and others.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of cloud security architecture, especially Microsoft Azure.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., NIST, GDPR, PCI-DSS).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
