The UXA Lead will work with our development teams and customers, envisioning and designing the desktop, web, and mobile applications we create. You will work in a customer-facing environment solving complex challenges. The ideal candidate will be excellent in a customer-facing environment. You like to solve complex challenges and think outside the box. With strong written and verbal communication skills, you not only understand client requirements but are comfortable making presentations. You will work well in a team-environment and assimilate easily with a close-knit and friendly staff.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for every aspect of a system's user experience
• Solve workflow problems and develop new ways of visualizing market data
• Think on your feet, sketch, present, iterate, and refine ideas alongside and in front of clients
• Gain broad exposure to many areas of clients' businesses and technologies
• Quickly learn new skills and terminology and build rapport with end users
• Work onsite with the product and development team

Required Experience and Skills

• 8+ years of solid experience in UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, or Information Architecture
• Hands-on experience in user research, sketching solutions, wire-framing, and final UI/Visual design
• Abiding interest in solving real-world business problems
• Experience working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Ability to communicate effectively and influence client strategy
• Resourcefulness, independence, and determination to succeed
• Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Information Architecture, Visual Communication, Graphic Design, or any design-related field is highly preferred

Desired Experience and Skills

• Experience designing complex, interactive, transactional, enterprise-level, expert systems
• Knowledge of global financial markets and financial products
• Excellent organization skills striving for operational efficiency
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Ability to drive product deliverables forward on time and at high quality
• Experience operating within cross-functional teams
• Corporate or retail banking experience
• Responsive Web, Android, and iOS experience
• Ability to work closely with other peers, the leads for product and engineering
• Experience leading teams of 4 or more designers across multiple delivery teams
• Excellent presentation skills and client management/engagement skills
• Experience working in a consultancy environment is a nice-to-have
