We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, system administrators, and quality assurance professionals, to design, implement, and maintain our robust DevOps infrastructure. You will lead the development and implementation of automation tools and processes, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our software applications and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the company's DevOps strategy and roadmap.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing, quality assurance, and security practices into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Continuously improve and optimize infrastructure and systems for enhanced performance, scalability, and security.
- Monitor and analyze system performance and availability.
- Implement, manage, and orchestrate deployment automation with Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
- Maintain and enhance the company's cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Enforce best practices for version control, code review, continuous integration, and deployment.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Education and Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 7+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in a senior role.
- Experience in a production, customer-facing environment.
- Strong expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficient in Linux internals and design/maintenance of large-scale UNIX/Linux infrastructures.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Extensive experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles and tools.
- Solid knowledge of cloud computing platforms and related services.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
