Position

This full-time, on-site position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia entails providing mission system technical support for the Ground Data Processing System (GDPS). The Lead, Systems Computer Systems Administrator will assist Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) personnel in preparing mission system load disks for flights and recovering mission disks post-flight. In this role, individuals will conduct On-the-Job Training (OJT) for RSAF GDPS personnel and act as a subject matter expert, demonstrating a thorough understanding of Computer Systems Administrator (CSA) duties and the USAF/RSAF ground systems supporting Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations.

Key responsibilities include engaging with job site personnel and the Program Management Office (PMO) to influence modifications to practices, processes, and approaches, thereby making substantial improvements in systems and processes. The candidate will also be required to develop local checklists for assigned tasks and possess the ability to interpret various technical diagrams, including block diagrams, wire diagrams, mechanical drawings, and circuit schematics.

Essential functions of this position include:

  • Strong technical foundation with experience collaborating with development engineering teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Strategic ISR and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) operations.
  • A minimum of 9 years of operational experience in ISR and/or SIGINT.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with a capability to thrive in a diverse team environment.
  • Proficient communication skills in written, verbal, and presentation formats.

Qualifications for this position are as follows:

  • Applicants must be US Citizens.
  • Must hold a current DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science with at least 9 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or 13 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree is required.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), agile system development, and DevSecOps tools and processes is essential.

Preferred additional skills include:

  • A current DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.
  • Education or experience in systems engineering, systems architecture, systems analysis, design, system performance modeling, integration, or project management.
  • Functional working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneNote.

Proficiency in English is required.
