Job Description: Senior Account Manager, Saudi Arabia
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Saudi National to join our team as a Senior Account Manager for our Communications Segment. In this key role, you will be instrumental in driving sales, managing high-value customer relationships, and expanding our market presence within Saudi Arabia. Our diverse product portfolio includes tactical/military radios, C4ISR Integrated Systems, SATCOM, ISR datalinks, night vision equipment, and customized communication systems.

As a Senior Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement strategic sales plans that drive business growth and achieve revenue targets. You will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, providing them with innovative and tailored solutions to meet their needs. Your role will involve identifying and closing new sales opportunities, managing existing accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction through regular engagement and support.

This role will require you to frequently meet with clients and stakeholders, including local and US government, military, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. You will work closely with program management, product-line management, engineering, marketing, contracts, finance, trade compliance, and in-country partners to align sales strategies and deliver optimal results. Additionally, you will manage and track your opportunities within our CRM database to maintain an accurate sales pipeline. Your insights and updates will be crucial in guiding senior management on market trends and account status, enabling informed decision-making.

Essential Functions:

  • Drive Business Growth: Secure immediate and long-term business opportunities, focusing on high-value sales and pipeline development.
  • Strategic Campaigns: Develop and coordinate successful campaigns with KSA government stakeholders, in-country partners, defense industry, and internal teams.
  • Internal Coordination: Brief internal stakeholders on status updates, lead pricing reviews, generate account plans, and ensure internal synchronization via regular CRM updates.
  • Financial Reviews: Ensure pursuits meet internal guidelines and work with finance to understand the underlying financial metrics of pursuits.
  • Localization Plans: Collaborate with GAMI and internal teams to develop and execute required localization plans.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and grow key customer relationships throughout the sales process.
  • Sales Progression: Directly drive sales progression, pushing pursuits through the required internal processes and creatively working to remove obstacles as they arise.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across various sectors, including Program Management, Contracts, Trade Compliance, Engineering, and Product Line Management, to ensure pursuits meet internal thresholds and comply with legal requirements. Ability to travel as needed within KSA, with the potential for expanded responsibilities as the role grows.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience; or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience; or in lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
  • Preferred Additional Skills:
    • Expertise in Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) of military equipment.
    • Experience with the US Foreign Military Sales (FMS) process.
    • Proven track record of executing successful localization projects with GAMI.
    • Background in Engineering, Sales, or Product Management.
    • Direct product experience with L3Harris Communication Systems products.
    • Previous Military experience.
    • Proficiency with CRM Systems and highly proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
    • Willingness to regularly collaborate with US and other international colleagues, vendors, and partners across different time zones.
