Position

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data Center Operations Security Team is seeking a highly talented and motivated Physical Security Program Manager (SPM) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This position is responsible for the design, installation, and integration of security systems equipment including Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems. The ideal candidate will work in all related disciplines, from technology research to system design and layout, oversight of construction and implementation, as well as maintenance and upgrades over the life of the system.

The SPM will be a key member of the APMEA Security team, supervising compliance with physical security standards, managing physical security projects, and serving as a Subject Matter Expert in all facets of Physical Security. Success will be measured by the development, implementation, and commissioning of standardized security infrastructure systems for the AWS region, focusing on customer service levels, access control effectiveness, and the protection of customer data, employees, and visitors.

Work Conditions

  • Provide technical leadership for large-scale security engineering projects.
  • Coordinate security system design specifications and change management between internal teams and external vendors.
  • Secure compliance of physical security project standards, including project scopes of work, budgets, and timelines.
  • Support security system equipment commissioning.
  • Build and deploy training programs for users of physical security systems.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of cross-functional experience with tech and non-tech teams
  • 3+ years of experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
  • 3+ years of experience driving process improvements
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
