This position offers the opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia, consisting of a major mixed-use development that includes sports facilities, entertainment, arts, and all associated infrastructure. Mace is currently providing programme management and is looking for high-calibre, experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Delegate tasks to ensure they are completed effectively.
  • Review the BIM execution plan developed by the LDC/contractor.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of ISO19650 and applicable standards.
  • Ensure security protocols are followed for viewing and issuing information on all projects.
  • Implement governance and assurance processes.
  • Monitor digital handover to completion.
  • Participate in industry events to stay updated on BIM developments.
  • Produce information standards, methods, procedures, and shared resources.
  • Manage the object library development in alignment with the wider BIM strategy.
  • Assure and check the information model.
  • Review current technology solutions and research new ones to enhance the BIM process, including emerging technologies.
  • Support construction sequencing strategy using information models.
  • Assist the cost team in the preparation of cost plans from information models.
  • Provide training on using databases, evaluating data, and conducting assurance.
  • Understand and perform in line with the information management assignment matrix (ISO 19650-2).
  • Set up processes and tools for Common Data Environments (CDEs).
  • Upskill the client team, project managers, and design teams by running BIM knowledge sharing sessions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and design teams on procedural elements and compliance.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with content management library systems and Autodesk desktop products.
  • Knowledge of validation and verification tools, visualisation tools, and database skills.
  • Intermediate understanding of ISO19650, BS1192, Common Data Environment (CDE), IFC, COBie, and classification.
