As a Senior Development Engineer in the Business Banking team, you will be responsible for the backend systems that work behind the scenes. Your role involves integrating the application with all necessary systems and services while providing clean and easy-to-use APIs for the frontend. You will hold full responsibility for the application's functionality, performance, and scalability.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop business logic and backend systems for the product.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers to create functional and efficient APIs.
- Analyze existing company software systems to connect applications to relevant data sources.
- Write both unit and integration tests and develop automation tools for daily tasks.
- Produce high-quality, well-documented, and efficient code.
- Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience as a backend developer with expertise in Java Spring Boot programming.
- Deep knowledge of Object-Oriented programming and engineering principles, including SOLID.
- Significant experience in writing and utilizing autonomous RESTful APIs and performance tuning for large-scale applications.
- Proficiency with database systems, including both SQL and NoSQL (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Couchbase).
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React is a plus.
- Able to write effective unit, integration, and API tests.
- Knowledge of immutable infrastructure, infrastructure automation, and provisioning tools is considered advantageous.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience as a Developer on a cross-functional Agile team preferred.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
- Problem-solving abilities to quickly process and present complex information simply.
- Passionate about technology and open to learning new ideas outside your current expertise.
