Role Description and Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales calls and new client development across Digital topics for all accounts as part of the EEMEA Digital Business Development team.
  • Deliver against sales targets for existing accounts and contribute to Mastercard Worldwide deal bids.
  • Capture senior and mid-level clients’ implicit business needs and identify critical aspects of their challenges.
  • Translate objectives into key hypotheses and structure work for large/complex projects.
  • Contribute to formal and informal pitches, from storyboarding through to face-to-face presentations.
  • Create succinct and persuasive written materials tailored to the audience.
  • Oversee project delivery and identify shortcomings, taking remedial action as necessary.
  • Manage knowledge capture and ensure it is accessible firm-wide.
  • Contribute as a thought leader to the development of intellectual capital, articles, and blogs.
  • Leverage deep knowledge of Mastercard Advisors capabilities to offer innovative solutions.

Education Needed:

  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • MBA or relevant postgraduate degree recommended.

Experience and Skills Needed:

  • Experience in top management consulting firms and relevant industry.
  • Knowledge of payments market, trends, and opportunities.
  • Proven ability to initiate, develop, and close sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to frame customer opportunities in financial terms.
  • Ability to think from the customer’s perspective and gain consensus among stakeholders.
  • Capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English.
