About
As a Microsoft Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician (DIAT), you will perform cycle audits, execute incoming and outgoing deliveries, coordinate security escorts for third-party vendors, and document inbound and outbound deliveries. This opportunity will allow you to deepen your knowledge of inventory management principles, warranty process management, and data-bearing device destruction while advancing your career.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma AND 1+ year(s) experience in a warehouse/supply chain environment related to information technology (IT), inventory management, retail, or warehouse management, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ year(s) experience in warehouse/supply chain in an IT environment, logistics, or operating heavy-load movement equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jacks) for a large corporation, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned tasks and escalate issues during high-volume work activity.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for warranty claims and process failed vendor hardware devices, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain accurate information within various inventory management systems, ensuring detailed physical inventory tracking.
  • Help reconcile and report inventory discrepancies.
  • Execute the destruction of data-bearing devices (DBD) following SLAs and Microsoft policies.
  • Notify management about ordering stock shortages and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Comply with security and data management policies while embodying our culture and values.
