As a Microsoft Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician (DIAT), you will perform cycle audits, execute incoming/outgoing deliveries, coordinate security escorts for third-party vendors, and document inbound and outbound deliveries. Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma AND experience in warehouse/supply chain in an information technology (IT) environment, inventory management, retail, or warehouse management, or a related field.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
- Pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse/supply chain in an IT environment, IT, and/or logistics, operating heavy-load movement equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jacks) for a large corporation, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform assigned tasks and escalate issues during high-volume work activity.
- Coordinate with suppliers to initiate warranty claims and process failed vendor hardware devices.
- Maintain accurate information within various inventory management systems.
- Reconcile and report inventory discrepancies, and perform destruction of data bearing devices.
- Comply with security and data management policies.
