We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) for Data Security to drive our customer's data security transformation. This is a customer-facing role, owning the data security-focused technical relationship and strategy between the customer and Microsoft through the whole adoption lifecycle, including planning, adoption, deployment, and optimization.

Microsoft Data Security Cloud Solution Architects Are Trusted Advisors For Customers Attempting To Secure Their Entire Data Estates Against Internal And External Data Risk. Microsoft Purview’s Integrated Data Security Services Support Customers Holistically Secure Data Protect Sensitive Data using data classification, sensitivity labeling, and encryption policies. Manage Insider Risks using machine learning detection controls and indicators, adaptive protection to dynamically enforce controls and advanced privacy controls Prevent Data Loss using built-in exfiltration policies for Microsoft 365 apps, services, and endpoints.

Responsibilities

Thought Leadership - Land an end-to-end value prop for Microsoft Data Security. Be a Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, connect with Global Security teams at Microsoft, Engineering and Product teams to remove blockers and influence the solution roadmap. Trusted Advisor - Empower customers in their Microsoft Data Security adoption journey, being hands-on with them to envision and define a Secure strategy, Architecture, and implementation of necessary security controls aligned with M365 E5 and Microsoft Azure Data Security workloads while ensuring operational health. Understand Customer/Partner Technical Environment - Accelerate Business Value of overall Data Security adoption by improving security posture and ensuring that the solution exhibits "Secure by Design" framework, such as high-performance levels, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability, and reliability upon deployment. Architecture Design and Deployment - Run Architectural Design Session to build a plan for implementing the solution — governing design in line with customer business goals and their technical environment. Outcome is consensus on solution design and next steps toward production. Practice Development - Collaborate and orchestrate with other Cloud Solution Architects and MS stakeholders including FastTrack, partner, and Microsoft Consulting in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions with the Microsoft Data Security platform.

Qualifications

Core Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management OR related field AND 5+ years’ experience in Data / Information Management.
• 5+ years of working in cloud infrastructure, IT consulting/support, systems administration, architecture, and/or software development.
• Good understanding of the principles of Data Security, such as data classification, encryption, sensitivity labeling, information protection policies and exfiltration controls
• Experience in the implementation (end to end) of Data Security projects with Data Security Platforms, preferably experience with Microsoft Purview (Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Information Risk Management)
• Experience working with Microsoft 365 services and/or Azure data services such as Sharepoint, Teams, Office 365, SQL, Azure Data Lake Services.

Technical Qualifications:

• Ability to lead strategic customer conversations to educate and guide development of Data Security requirements.
• Ability to lead strategic customer conversations to develop Data Security Frameworks and solution architecture design.
• Experience in Content Services Recognized Data Security certification
• Microsoft certification in: SC-400 Microsoft Information Protection Administrator
• Programming experiences, using Microsoft Information Protection SDK (e.g. C#, Python)
• Other technical Certification in Microsoft 365 and other Cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).
• Experience with Public Key Infrastructure in terms of key management and hierarchy.

Additional Or Preferred Qualifications:

• Candidates should have broad experience in cybersecurity and expertise around related technologies and concepts such as Zero Trust, threat management, and Extended Detection & Response (XDR), and Identity.
• Candidates should have knowledge as a security engineer or consultant to understand industry trends and competitive landscape, advise customers on ways to strengthen their data security posture or health, and land customer value through data security.
• Architecture - Ability to assess customer's multi-cloud data security and compliance ecosystem of systems & processes and make strategic recommendations that align with modern data security practices and principles.
• Relationship Building - Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior data security teams and executives in large or highly complex accounts.
• Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on data security solutions/projects.
• Problem Solving - Ability to solve customer data security problems through cloud technologies Collaboration and Communication - Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow-through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences (Senior Executives, Security teams, Data Security admins, and Cloud Security teams).
• Customer Focus - Customer obsessed leader with an "if I don't know how to get it done, I'll find someone who does" approach to solving customer challenges
• Value Realization - Ability to understand customer business objectives and outcomes and ability to quickly leverage tech solutions to accomplish those outcomes Trusted Technical Advisor - Ability to build strong relationships with senior security stakeholders and quickly build credibility and be viewed as a trusted advisor.
