We need you as Senior Integrated Planning for EMEA Lease. Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a CO+I EPC Integrated Planner for AI Lease, you will be instrumental in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. Our infrastructure comprises a large global portfolio of more than 100 datacenters and 1 million servers. With environmental sustainability and optimization at the forefront of our datacenter design and operations, we continue to grow and evolve to meet the ever-changing business demands that hold Microsoft as a world-class cloud provider.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Deep experience in planning/scheduling utilizing scheduling software (P6 or MS Project)
  • Extensive experience in design and construction project management
  • Proven track record of delivering medium-to-large scale construction projects on time and to the satisfaction of clients
  • Excellent understanding of Project Planning, Earned Value Management and Key Commodity Tracking
  • Strong familiarity with CPM scheduling methodology
  • Ability to analyze EPC plans/schedules and provide insights into trends, issues, and mitigations
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to self-direct work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in managing teams and working collaboratively with cross-functional groups
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Datacenter design and construction
  • Deep knowledge of Primavera P6 and other schedule health analysis tools
  • Strong experience with Risk Schedule Analysis
  • Ability to present data from a detailed to high-level depending on audience

Responsibilities:
As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, execution, and delivery of large-scale datacenter construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in datacenter design, procurement, and construction, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and to the satisfaction of clients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and oversee continuous improvement of detailed project plans, including timelines and resource requirements for construction projects.
  • Manage cross-functional teams inside and outside Microsoft to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time.
  • Monitor project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
  • Work with clients to understand their needs and ensure project outcomes meet their expectations.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring objectives are met and timely delivery.
  • Continuously improve project management processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
