The Industry Solutions Engineering (ISE) team is a global engineering organization that collaborates directly with customers to leverage the latest technologies to address their challenges. We work closely with customers’ engineers to jointly develop code for cloud-based solutions that can accelerate their organizations. We collaborate with Microsoft product teams, partners, and open-source communities to empower our customers to maximize their capabilities with the cloud.
In this role, you will work alongside engineers from your team and our customers’ teams, applying your skills and creativity to address complex challenges and contribute to impactful cloud-based solutions. Responsibilities

Understand User Requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders on user requirements and feedback for features
- Apply feedback channels to improve designs or solutions
- Measure customer value and usage patterns

Design
- Contribute to product/solution architecture and testing design with technical leadership
- Work hands-on with your team and customers through design and implementation

Coding
- Write and debug code for product features, following coding standards and best practices

Implementation
- Execute project plans and tests, considering customer impact
- Share your work and learnings with your team and the open-source community

Engineering Excellence
- Continuously improve our ability to deliver quality solutions and evolve our engineering process
- Build your technical knowledge

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience building production-quality software (ideally cloud services) in an agile environment
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to learn new languages and technologies quickly
- Comfort with regional travel up to 25%
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field AND 4+ years of technical engineering experience OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field AND 2+ years of technical engineering experience OR equivalent experience.
