We are looking for hardworking technologists to join our Pre-Sales organization. MongoDB Pre-Sales Solution Architects guide customers in crafting and building reliable, scalable systems using our data platform. This role requires collaboration with sales representatives and a key focus on achieving customer success.
Responsibilities:
- Design systems and applications to drive software development projects using MongoDB.
- Advise customers on architecture, patterns, and strategies for MongoDB.
- Articulate the business value of MongoDB solutions.
- Support sales activities including technical discovery, demos, and documentation.
- Act as a liaison between customers and the Product Management team.
- Participate in trade-shows and account-based marketing events.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- 3+ years of pre-sales experience with enterprise software.
- Proficiency in two or more modern scripting languages or programming languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, SQL, C/C++, Java, C#).
- Experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
Nice to Have:
- Pre-sales experience with enterprise software.
- Experience selling databases and/or deploying applications with major cloud providers.
- MongoDB Certification.
