Solutions Architect

As a Solutions Architect in MongoDB's Pre-Sales organization, you will guide customers in designing and building reliable, scalable systems using our data platform. This role involves close collaboration with sales executives to solve business problems and to drive customer success.

Location: Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: Full-time, Hybrid working model

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Architect scalable and performant applications, systems, and infrastructure.
• Guide customers on architectural patterns and optimization strategies for MongoDB.
• Collaborate with the sales team for account planning and pipeline generation strategy.
• Proactively generate demand through technical initiatives and participation in industry events.
• Foster strong customer relationships to ensure success and satisfaction.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development related to MongoDB products and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• 8 to 11 years of related experience in a customer-facing role, including 5 to 7 years in pre-sales with enterprise software.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with modern scripting languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or popular programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java, C#).
• Experience designing scalable and highly available distributed systems in both cloud and on-prem environments.
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Travel Requirement: Ability to travel up to 25%.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Experience selling databases or deploying applications with major cloud providers.
• Knowledge of database programming and data models.
• Understanding of sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC/Command of the Message.
• MongoDB and/or Cloud Provider Certification.
