As an intern, you will be involved in large-scale projects for key customers in the KSA region. Job Description
As a Junior System Engineer Intern, you will:
- Assist Lead Engineers with pre-sale design and post-sale implementation technical support on two-way radio and other communications product applications for Motorola Solutions Public Safety Customer accounts.
- Collaborate with teams including Sales, System Integrators, Product Engineers, Program Managers, and Senior Systems Engineers to implement wireless communication solutions for voice, data, and integrated infrastructure systems.
- Partner with Systems Engineers to conduct customer needs assessments, perform RF coverage and interference predictions, design equipment layouts and antenna configurations, determine RF Link budgets and Telco requirements, and conduct coverage and operational testing.
Basic Requirements
To be successful as a System Engineer Intern, you should possess:
- The ability to present technical materials to non-technical audiences.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of RF propagation, wireless, microwave, and/or telecommunications networks (a plus).
- Understanding of communications networks (Ethernet, TCP/IP, MPLS) (a plus).
- Certifications through CompTIA or Amateur Radio (a plus).
