Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer with expertise in both web and mobile software development. The ideal candidate will be skilled in developing and maintaining complex web applications and mobile apps, ensuring seamless integration and delivering a high-quality user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web and mobile applications.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align software development initiatives with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
- Participate in the design, development, and testing of software solutions and applications.
- Engage in technical activities within the team, such as upgrading current solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams for seamless project execution and timely delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement of software performance, security, stability, and availability.
- Document code effectively for reference and reporting.
- Ensure software quality and performance through thorough testing and optimization.
- Investigate alternatives and new technologies to support continuous improvement.
- Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards.
Experience & Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Strong programming experience in web and mobile development using Python and Android/iOS.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices throughout the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and documentation.
- Experience in developing software solutions within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proven experience in developing scalable cloud applications.
- Familiarity with healthcare IT systems landscape (e.g., EHR, FHIR).
- Experience with CI/CD processes and GitHub/GitLab.
- Proficient in working within an agile environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a software developer specializing in complex software systems.
